Turkish Airlines partnered with Kobe Bryant and Lionel Messi in ‘The Selfie Shootout’ to promote the fact that they fly to more countries than any other airline.
The idea of it sounds fun but not well over 100 million views on YouTube fun. However, the total number of views the video has right now (10.33, 23/01/2014) is 136,356,809. The sporting pair have worked together before in Turkish Airlines’ Legends on Board but this video seemed to surprise everybody in it’s popularity.
In the first week of December it topped the YouTube brand videos list beating the likes of Amazon Prime Air and Cartier’s Winter Tale.
