Less money.More go.
American airline, Spirit airlines moto is ‘Less money. More go.’ However according to many passengers the airline is perhaps not so cheap. The only thing relatively low cost about the whole experience is the price of your seat after that the airline charges for carry-on bags, pre-assigned seating, food and beverage as well as using your credit card to buy your ticket. Established in 1980 the airline offers a minimal 28″ of space for each passenger, and from 30-36″ in economy.
“Let the customer tell the world how bad we are.”
But despite a record high in complaints, the company still refuses to believe that their airline is to fault. With the companies CEO being quoted with saying “Let the customer tell the world how bad we are. He’s never flown us before anyway and will be back when we save him a penny”. Not quite following the idea that the customer is always right.
But in the recent week the airline has begun to turn itself around with a new campaign launched, inviting passengers to voice their complaints in exchange 8,000 free miles, but of course in order to be applicable you must have to fly spirit at least once to earn the 10,000 miles needed for the free 8,000 miles or sign up for their credit card either way they Spirit is gaining from the hate you give them.
The campaign is called Hate Thousand Miles and you can see the webpage here.
