Ryanair have launched their first TV ad campaign, continuing their efforts to change customer service and their reputation.
The series promotes three of Ryanair’s changes: allocated seating, a second free cabin bag and the video above on the new website. The ad describes the old experience for passengers while the ad depicts what they hope to be the new experience.
The ads underpins the tagline: Low fares. Made simple. “Book your Ryanair flight on our brand new website. Ryanair. Low Fares. Made Simple.” No sign of O’Leary dressed as leprechaun here.
The is the first big marketing push by the airline this year after having tripled its marketing budget. What do you think of the new, grown up Ryanair?
Do you think passengers will be convinced?
