How do you build a plane in under five minutes?

This clever video uses time-lapse technology to demonstrate how the new CRJ900 Nextgen Aircraft was constructed. The plane model will be the latest jet to join the American airlines fleet.

Alice Liu, American’s managing director of on-board products, was the mastermind behind the new design, and although the plane may look like any other ordinary aircraft, Liu promises it is the detail in her design that will make it stand out. The details Liu speaks off, will include two inches extra leg room, beating any other U.S. regional airline, in-flight wifi (free of charge), as well as a concave window design which will maximize more natural light and create the feeling of more central space.
