KLM have launched yet another fantastic marketing campaign this month, with ‘The Airplane Apartment’. In partnership with Airbnb, the airline’s latest competition has offered those who take part the opportunity to stay the night in one of their retired planes which has been turned into a rather impressive family apartment.
Those who fancied the idea of staying the night in ‘The Airplane Apartment’ had to plead their reasons for staying the night on the retired jetliner, before being chosen as winners by the airline.
KLM’s marketing stunt is yet another shining example of their forward thinking approach when it comes to reaching out to their customers. By re-thinking how they can use their airline space, they have created a unique experience for those who want to take part. But most importantly, KLM have created yet another talking point.
