In-flight entertainment reached new heights for Virgin Atlantic fliers last week, when comedian Russell Kane performed a stand-up gig to all those on board, whilst being 30,000 ft in the air.
The short gig was in aid of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, one of the largest arts festival in the world. All passengers on board were travelling to the festival from London Heathrow, where Kane himself would be performing.
Founder and chairman of the Virgin Group, Richard Branson, said: ‘To follow on the success of the first on-board live performances in 2013, we’re providing our passengers with another great line-up of comedy gigs in true Virgin Atlantic style. This ensures we offer an unforgettable and inimitable flying experience. Virgin Atlantic Live: On Air reinforces again why our customer service is second to none.’
