In the early ’70s, National Airlines reportedly spend over 9 million dollars in launching the ‘fly me’ campaign. The above advert is just one, of a series of different sexist ‘fly me’ adverts, of which the company used to market themselves.  However, the campaign did not just stop at the advert, the airline even insisted that the cabin crew should wear badges with the sexual innuendo ‘fly me’ written across them.
