British Airways have topped the latest Superbrands list in the UK beating names like Kellogg’s, Andrex and…Apple.
The airline beat more than 1,500 companies to the top of the list that ranks brand strength in the UK. British Airways has always performed well but it seems their marketing and sponsor efforts have paid off after its ‘To fly, to serve’ campaign and the association with Olympic and Paralympic games in 2012.
It seems that flying the British flag and serving Great Britain has beaten off tech brands such as Apple, Google and Facebook this year with all three sliding down the list.
The brand is also favoured for its pride in representing Britian in other countries. It looks like the UK have gone back to their roots.
Congratulations BA! Here is the full top 20 so you can see the names BA beat to the top.
