Where are the best lounges in the world? The ones that make you want to stay forever, making lay overs easier and even pleasant. Sleep and relax in style, as we were meant to. I've collated some of the most impressive lounges I could find. In alphabetical order, as they're all different for their own reasons (and as not to upset anybody), here's the Top 10 airport lounges.

10. AA Admirals Club Lounge- LAX

Conference rooms, internet access and PCs, showers, music rooms, kids rooms and food, the AA Admirals Club Lounge is located in terminal 4. And it's great for celeb spotting! Thanks to Klout, you can get in for free. Click here to read how.

9. British Airways Concorde Room- London Heathrow

A proper British lounge if ever there was one. A combination of velvets, herringbone print and chandeliers make it feel like a "dapper British gents study." I saw that phrase in 2 places. Enjoy a private booth, waiter service and complimentary champagne and access to the Elemis Travel Spa.

8. Cathay Pacific The Pier- Hong Kong International

Love your food? This place wipes all memories of disgusting plane or airport food. With a noodle bar, first-class Haven Restaurant and 2 other cafes’/bars, all the private rooms, shower suites and wake up calls are just icing on the cake. They'll probably have awesome cake.

7. Changi International Airport- Singapore

This entire airport is ideal for the kids and the big kids in all of us. Supposedly it's like a playground- couches, TVs, rooftop pool (yes), four-story amusement park slide, a movie theatre and a nap area for when you've run out of steam.

6. Etihad Airways Diamond First Class Lounge- Abu Dhabi

If you've got a gaggle of sugared up children, this is the lounge for you. Drop the kids off at the door with Etihad's nanny service, head to the spa or shower room, cigar room or the champagne bar.

5. Finnair Lounge- Helsinki Airport

How cool are these chairs? The Finnish and Nordic furniture designs add a nice touch to the lounge. On top of the chairs, this lounge has a free buffet, spa, wine cellar and free internet.

4. Lufthansa First Class Lounge- Frankfurt

With it's own passport control and security checkpoints, personal service is first and foremost in the relaxing lounge. And for the whiskey lovers, don't worry, the bar's stocked with 86 different kinds.

3. Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge- Changi Airport Singapore

This lounge is open 24 hours a day and is located in terminals 2 and 3 of the airport. With PCs, wireless internet access, meeting room, bar, restrooms and showers. The staff will wake you up before your flight in case you get too comfy…

The new Clubhouse boasts a cocktail bar, fancy red ball sofa, complimentary food, an internet bar, a quiet corner and the Clubhouse Spa. The spa being the stand out feature includes Dr. Hauschka products and treatments.
